Taking Myths Literally

Hi, I'm in the crossroads right now for myths seem to carry literal messages concerning energy behaviour and origins of this realm. And i feel like Gods are a collection of systems. Like the whole organism.

Why personifying things that might not even have anything in common with us humans? Isn't that insulting, assuming and relating to them in any way? Maybe they don't want us to worship them. Which I really believe, because this place was ment to be the freeest of all. Worshiping anything feels like slavery.

Yea cats are cute to us but it's just because we have a lot in common. On the other hand spiders, that most of us feel "xenophobic" towards. They feel alien to us. Even though in their kingdom they might believe in their own spider gods.

Knowledge brings doubts. And doubts re scratchy. Please tell me how to be sure about anything in this age of simulated everything. Being a natural born rebel, I've always felt urge in fighting the system. Now I believe God in a system.

Heil Y'all.

By "myths" are you talking about the Gods? They are real beings, not personified anything. They are persons. The only thing allegorical or mythical is their stories. Gods are real beings and they hear and listen to us. It is us who are like them, not the opposite, because they created us. Humans are little Gods and we have the potential to become fully like them. Some of them were human at one point. The part from the buybull that humans were created in the Gods' image and likeness is true and was stolen from Pagan creation stories.

What is insulting is abstracting them and depersonalizing them as mere forces and trying to make them something alien and unrelated to us, not the opposite.
