Very interesting. The Nazis didn't know about ancient lost civilizations just from reading about them. They were much more deeply psychic and that's why they couldn't just abandon the "myths."

In Ireland, Satan was known as "E.A.," just like in Sumeria. The only thing is, is that the Irish account predates the Sitchin account by more than 1,000 years. I personally believe the whole Cathar and other orders like the Templars put up christianish window dressing to keep the vactican off their backs for as long as possible. But where totally Pagan on the inside. I am thinking that a lot of the original Pagans did this as from what Maxine has stated it appears the catholic church did not grab the full power it's famous for till about the 1300's. What was probably really happening is a lot of pretend conversions  before that to appease Rome. So in that sense I believe the Cathars might have been a Druid order on the inside that put up christianish appearence on the outside. Rahn stated they where keepers of the Druidic knowledge.   What happened in Iceland was they where offered to convert to christianity by Olaf or face the sword, knowing they could not defend against his massive army they stated they would convert. So all that happened was the Gothi's/Druids of Iceland dawned a cross outwards and just went back to Paganism in private. That is a reason the runes survived. A lot of those wooden stave churches in Scandianiva are built in the image of Dragons and coverd with Pagan symbols.
