I am considering summoning a god to ask s/he to protect a recently deceased family member. Do you have any suggestions of what to offer in in return or whom to ask in the first place? There a a few gods listed under "necromancy" and there is of course Anubis. Whom do you think would be best to ask for this? I understand that the "what to offer" part is usually agreed upon between the summoner and the god, but I do not believ I am psychically open enough to communicate properly. I guess it's worth a try because maybe they will get through to me. I just don't want to sit there like a dumbass, in silence, wasting their time and no one gets anything accomplished because I can't know what my end of the deal is. What might I offer? Mind you I am not very adept. I am between beginner and intermediate, depending on what we're talking about. So I feel there may be little or nothing to offer to thank them for their help. I think perhaps I shouldnt ask at all, yet the guilt of knowing it's an option and there is actually a soul who may be able to partition help on their behalf-me- it's a guilty feeling. And a sad one to imagine them being harassed by the enemy.
