I got a question about this... What's up with occult symbolism in Street Gangs? I notice there is a lot of it. Like GD (Gangster Disciple) with the forks up (The Trident or the Devil's Pitchfork) which is an occult symbol that deals with the third eye and pingala or w/e, and then you got the 6 point star, the Star of Vishnu. Then you got MS13 there number is 13, the number of Satan... One thing I noticed about gangs, there's a lot of occult symbology within them, whether the majority of these gang bangers know it or not, it's there. Did the creators of these gangs have knowledge about the occult and used it to create them? Or what? Can someone please shed some knowledge on this, I am very curious.

Has it dawned on you these groups embrace a cultural context of evil for power image and thus use numbers and symbols that are part of the popular culture which is framed by Christianity for this.

Hmmm, I don't think so... I believe the leaders of these groups had occult knowledge. If they didn't, I don't think they would of grew so fast and become a world known gang, let alone their names be known as well, like Tookie Williams (I believe his name was) founder of the Crips. They had power, and enough power to make themselves known through out the whole world, I don't think a person with no occult knowledge would be able to do that, so I think they knew the true meaning of these occult symbols, but you could be right... they also could of used them because of evil and xianity, who knows, but hard for me to believe.

A lot of people use signes wrong because they unknowingly think it's ok. Dumbed down society

No.. I would say that most of them are actually rebels to the mainstream Xianity who have no knowledge of the occult. They are inclined to go against what the 'Church' says. Since, Xianity says that all these symbols are devilish, and these people pride in going against it, they take up these symbols forbidden by the religion, that's all. Unless these people are occult practitioners (which I doubt), they have absolutely no idea what the symbols mean. These people still think that our gods are bad and evil and they just take pride in calling themselves evil, that's all.
Our gods are benevolent to people who trust them. They don't cause harm unless they are our enemies. These gangsters just cause harm to everyone by taking up these symbols. All the more reason why the shitty Xians think we are evil.

Oh I know that and completely understand, but I'm not talking about the average joe in these gangs, of course these people are ignorant, I'm just curious about the leaders... did the leaders (the creators) of these gangs know about the occult? Because they have a lot of power, and I don't think the average person can get that much power without using occult knowledge to do so. Even if that is the case, and I am right, I do not believe these people are Satanists, just people into angel magick, but I'm curious to know... because the occult symbolism is there, but yeah, big possibility they could of used these symbols just to "be scary" or "evil" as you guys are saying, which we all know that is not what these symbols represent.
