I have a neck injury so there's no way I'll even try any of the inverted poses. By the same token, spinal flexibility is very important, so I always include those. Like Brian said, we do what we can do. That doesn't include the impossible. With Yoga, EFFORT shouldn't be confused with FORCING or STRAINING, neither of which is helpful.

Don't get me wrong,my body is 54 years old,so some of the Hatha poses are very hard. But I do it for 30 minutes every morning before my power meditations anyway. The only requirement in any of it is we try.

What's up, bro? I totally feel ya about the "breakfast meditation" lol. My problem with the physical yoga, is that I haven't found a way that works for me, yet. I can't seem to bend my back side-to-side, or forward or backward, w/o severe repercussions the next morning. I had just started up physical therapy again and made an agreement to bring my laptop w/ me to go over what I can can't do at home. As far as silenceing my mind, durring a discussion w/ one of our sisters, the topic of the guided meditations cd's, unfortunately I had to wait for hind-site to teach her about the counting. I seem to have two layers of thought: there are my immediate thoughts on the surface, and a much faster layer underneath. That is the one I've always had a problem with. At times, I'll catch myself in the 90's before I realize I'm even counting! LMAO! Sounds like a mild form of O.C.D. (No offence to any with such an issue)
I have found a personal desire to increase meditations, and on that topic, I know I've asked numerous times, however my laptop is on its way out, and while trying to up-grade my phone, the comp erased all my book-marks; so if anyone would be willing to again post the link from the news letter on words of power, I'd be very great full. My next goal is purchasing the pronunciation of the runes. Everyone have a good one!

Hi family,
It feels so good to be doing 30 minutes of Hatha, and 30 minutes of power meditations,in the morning again.I am back to doing the full chakra meditation again.H P Maxing talks about on her guided meditation CD,that to relax, she recommends visualizing numbers. So I started doing that during my void meditation. It helps me a great deal, mainly because it keeps my mind busy, while still keeping it focused. When I try listening to outside noises,or even focusing my attention on one single thing,my mind tends to wonder about what I want to accomplish that day.I have tried many things to still my mind, and at this point visualizing numbers works for me.What are some ways you all use to still your minds.
Hail Satan!
Brian
