sorry i have questions about The Standard Ritual to Satan.

i got a job and i have been working on a project and i have been really busy, but the project is finished now. ive visited the groups and ive read the post about a new ritual ( it was actually from june 21th but its my first time reading it since i didnt visit the group ) and i wish to do the ritual so i start writing it down on my shadowbook as i always do, and i wanted to do the Standard Ritual to Satan even though i might get judged or disturbed by my family ( but im kiiinda sure that Father Satan would help me on keeping them away for a while , im not gonna depend on that though ). so i was writing down the Invocation to Father Satan, and im kinda confused here... im not trying to point something out im just very curious, so why " i invite the Forces of DARKNESS to ... " erm, i mean, dark is not bout bad and light is not bout good and they are kinda like ying and yang, and i assume that Darkness has to do with power? i guess? and light with enlightenment? no?

aand why Infernal?? " to bestow their infernal power upon me. " ive googled it and infernal means lower... i dont understand please clarify, and again im just asking, im not trying to point something out. and im asking because i REALLY wish to understand.

and " Open the Gates of Hell to come forth to greet me as your Brother/Sister and friend." why Hell? i know Hell is the name for the Base Chakra ( no? ), and it probably means " power " u know, a power and endurance for the ritual. but its my assumption, it might mean something else and if it does then i wish to know. thanks Brothers and Sisters
