some questions from a beginner

Dear Satanists, I'd like to ask about the use of black colour. It says on JOS that black is one of Satan's colours. I hear elsewhere that black represents Saturn cult and is worn by priests, judges, and on universities. I hear that Satan is not about darkness so why the use of black candles and robes? Shouldn't satanists use gold or blue, like gods' aura?
