Some Clarifications ...

I have a few questions. What are the different colors of energy, and what are they used for? Also, what do Chakras look like? I typically visualize them as rotating/spinning light-cones, with their respective colors, sometimes with patterns/designs on them. And, Is the Base Chakra at the tail-bone, or is it closer to the genitals? Thank you for your answers.
