Silver

So today, the day of the moon. I decided to do a little expirement with my third eye.Since, the moons rules the metal silver and the third eyes color is silver. I was curious what would occur if you placed silver near your third eye? So I did that exactly. I used 1 troy ounce of pure silver as it. Made sure my third eye was active by focusing on it where I can feel its energy/pressure. Then proceeded to place the silver near by forehead. The following effects I had were that I can feel it draining the energy out of my third eye. Almost like the pressure was fading away and being pulled out. I thought this little experiment was pretty cool. Of-course I didn't continue after that, I wouldn't want my silver to be stealing my energies now would I? Lol.
But this led me to this question. Why did the silver steal my energies? Was it because it was deprived of its own and felt a compatibility with mine that it decided to siphon my third eye?Do all minerals correspond to the chakras similarly? Or is it just situational how it might occur?
Any information regarding this matter, will be highly appreciated.
