Yes, I made a post on creating sigils for magick shortly ago too. Try finding it and read on it.
Sigils are nothing but drawings until they are charged by magi's.
Demon sigils were chosen with a certain goal, and charged through massive use by massive amounts of people and the gods themselves.
Although this is just my own theory, correct me if i'm wrong.
