Shintoism and Budhism?

I have done brief research on the two. I have to say I like shitoism better. I was curious what Satan and Be'elzebubs names in Japanese were. Also, was shintoism once a true origonal religion that worshiped them correctly? Any information on shintoism primarily would be helpful. thank you
