Ritual Tools

Hi all,
I am new to Satanism and am really loving every bit of it. At last something that gives answer to most of my questions.
With so much enthusiasm/dedication I have done my initiation, doing my meditation almost daily, performed about 3 rituals.
Was reading an article on JOS today and came across Consecrating and Empowering Ritual Tools, just wondering;
i. if Ritual Tools MUST be Consecrated and Empowered before using them?
ii. what happens to the ashes after the request is burnt?

The empowerment here is optional, just as the props in general are. The key point to have effective magick is to have a powerful soul.

From what i know ashes are to be prefferably kept, but if you dont want to you can bury them in the ground or something like that. Try avoiding things like just throwing them into the trash.
