Regarding Karma

I understand that there is no BS called 3 fold-law as the Mc-Wiccans state. However, Karma is a concept used in a rampant way and this was taken from Buddhism (and indirectly from Vedic people). I would like to know if Karma really exists. If yes, what is it really? Is it something which bites us in the arse or come to haunt us in the next life if we mess up something now, or is it just cause and effect?

Umm. I don't really know myself, but from what I've experienced, it's more like "you reap what you sow" kind of stuff.
