I am required to learn how red light therapy and am only getting into this recently, I am writing this post to see if anybody around knows if red light therapy is healthy for us Satanists and if there are any negative side effects?
Red light therapy apparently was discovered in the 1950s by NASA to help heal birds and boost cellular production levels. Independent research indicates that certain cells in the skin can be encouraged to produce collagen, elastin and enzymes that are imperative to the skin's supportive structure through a process that combines specific ingredients delivered through topically applied skin care products with light waves of 633 nano-meters.
How the process works:
As we age, we produce less collagen which results in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles due to thin, dry skin.
Red light therapy penetrates deep into the dermis layer(middle layer of skin), stimulating cells that produce collagen.
New collagen then moves to the surface reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
Increase in collagen production smoothes the skin and reduces appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Other benefits are strengthened vascular walls, improved oxygenation, detoxification, improved hydration, increased cellular activity, improved natural repair, creation of healthy skin conditions and cell regeneration. Also kills acne causing bacteria, refines pore size, minimizes cellulite, scars and stretch marks, reduces pain and inflammation.

Red light therapy is incorrectly named. It should be called Infrared light therapy as infrared rays are the only ones which can penetrate a cell and its nucleus to bring the supposed health benefits.

Infrared can also destroy cells at a high enough concentration and is thus illegal for use in almost every country where there is any sort of medical regulation.

Essentially red light therapy claims it can provide all of the benefits of its counterpart infrared therapy however this is simply not true.
