Recurrent Dream

Weird… I wonder what it means when you have a dream about being an "angel" along with your little brother, but during the course of the dream he starts to scream, gets all shriveled and dark grey and makes sounds like I'm choking him? I don't think it could be called a `nightmare,' but it certainly has been bothering me as of late. The strangest part is that I was being chased by demons who wanted to capture us and when I ran out into a parking lot this puppet/dwarf thing attacked me and pinned me to the ground. He tried to make me forget everything and I refused the hypnotic-like gesture. Then he said I had a stronger mind than anticipated and got off, leading me roughly to a minivan. I've had the dream twice, except the first time I forgot the dream.
The strangest-slighty-freaky part? My mother has told me numerous times she thinks I was given a 'gift from god' and when I was little, she took a picture of me. (A green, spectral thing showed up in front me which my mother claims to be a guardian angel or something. She's a Xian…) Combined with the dream, it makes me just a little worried.
