Umm, Vovin Luciftian, I mean no offense to you, but...No. It's not illegal. The only thing that is considered illegal is marking/changing it to gain financial benefit from it (i.e. changing a $1.00 bill to look like a $10.00 bill etc.).   http://www.lawforkids.org/QA/other/other93.cfm   Question #93:   Is it illegal to deface money?

Answer: There is no law or statute against simply writing on a cash bill. For instance, it is not against the law to draw giant red lips on George Washington's portrait on the front of a One Dollar Bill.

However defacing currency with the intent to alter the bill to gain a benefit is illegal. If someone alters a written instrument (such as a check) without permission and with the intent to gain a benefit, then it is called forgery, which is a crime. If one tried to alter a cash bill (like changing a $5 bill to a $20 bill) for the purpose of presenting the altered bill to gain a benefit, then that could be considered a forgery. Forgery of United States Currency in this manner is called counterfeiting and carries with it very stiff penalties.   So, as long as you don't obscure the value or the serial number, it's perfectly Legal. :)   As for the bank 'destroying' the money....   Banks send the old, soiled, mutilated, etc. bills to the Federal Reserve to be exchanged for new bills. These old bills must be deemed unsuitable for circulation. In all likelihood, the cashier was setting your money aside so as to assure that it does not get re-circulated as change for another customer. To remedy this, don't write on all of the bills and mix the ones you have written on amongst the ones you haven't...and hand them to the cashier with the writing face down (larger denominations are going to be scrutinized regardless, so it's a good idea to stick with smaller bills, like $1s, $5s, $10s. The higher you go, the more likely they are to face scrutinization). You can also make little paper 'bookmarks' and go to bookstores and libraries and 'accidentally' leave them in the books. :)   It takes maybe 3 to 4 seconds to write "exposingchristianity.com" on a bill, and if it goes into the cash register, there is a high chance of it being re-circulated as change to other customers...meaning, you are helping to spread the Truth...I, personally, would not consider this a waste of time.           HAIL THE GODS OF DUAT!!

Yes. So long as you do not deface the actual value of the bill so that it can no longer be recognizable for its value. It requires fraudulent intent.   "...with intent to render such bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt unfit to be reissued"   You can't deface or obscure the value or denomination of the bill (this includes the serial number), as doing this makes it unfit for recirculation. It's mainly a law against counterfeiting, or attempting to change/alter the value of the money.   So, if you're only writing the "www.exposingchristianity.com" website address in neat lettering along one edge of the bill, you're certainly not making it "unfit for recirculation"!   Now, this is for America. I don't know about the law in other countries.       HAIL THE GODS OF DUAT!!

I don't do it as much when I am actually handing cash to people but sometimes have maybe one or two dollar billes with embrace truth: www.joyofsatan.com written on it or www.exposingchristianity.com on it, my other favorite line is take back your life to put on these bills then one of the two websites. People do notice and one did read it who was a gas station clerk, but no one says anything, or sets it aside, I would suspect there are others in my area who probably do something similar or some of this money gets circulated around here but don't know the way some of them treat it, the way that guy looked at it I could almost see him thinking NOT AGAIN. Well, yes...I was speaking in regards to America. I've no clue as to the laws that govern other countries regarding this, although I did read, while researching this, that Canada actually has no written laws about defacing money at all. Whether this is true, or not, I've no idea, as I did not proceed further with it. In America, so long as the bill is still recognizable for its denomination, it's legal. You basically have to deface it with intent to make it unusable.     This is only one of many ways to get the truth out there. If one feels as if it is illegal to deface currency in ANY way (or if it IS illegal where you live), then simply don't do it. Father Satan doesn't want any of his Dedicated Disciples to place themselves in harm's way. There is more than one to skin a cat, so to speak. Be creative. Ask the Gods for assistance. You might want to place them under the windshield wipers of cars, rather than in the postal boxes, as placing anything in someone's post box that hasn't been circulated through the Postal Service is illegal.   You can mail them out, but placing them there yourself is illegal, and if a Postman sees the flyer, the Postal Service will file charges.   You can also leave some of them in lobby areas, waiting rooms, restrooms, in books, etc.     HAIL THE GODS OF DUAT!!

so
as to assure that it does not get re-circulated as change for another
customer. To remedy this, don't write on all of the bills and mix the ones
you have written on amongst the ones you haven't...and hand them to the
cashier with the writing face down (larger denominations are going to be
scrutinized regardless, so it's a good idea to stick with smaller bills,
like $1s, $5s, $10s. The higher you go, the more likely they are to face
scrutinization). You can also make little paper 'bookmarks' and go to
bookstores and libraries and 'accidentally' leave them in the books. :)

It takes maybe 3 to 4 seconds to write
"exposingchristianity.com" on a bill,
and if it goes into the cash register, there is a high chance of it being
re-circulated as change to other customers...meaning, you are helping to
spread the Truth...I, personally, would not consider this a waste of time.

That's a great idea, Tyrone. If those piece of shit xians can put their disgusting little paper flyer full of lies in our mailboxes, we should be able to pass around flyers of TRUTH.

Umm, Vovin Luciftian, I mean no offense to you, but...No. It's not illegal.
The only thing that is considered illegal is marking/changing it to gain
financial benefit from it (i.e. changing a $1.00 bill to look like a $10.00
bill etc.).

http://www.lawforkids.org/QA/other/other93.cfm

Question #93:

Is it illegal to deface money?

Answer: There is no law or statute against simply writing on a cash bill.
For instance, it is not against the law to draw giant red lips on George
Washington's portrait on the front of a One Dollar Bill.

However defacing currency with the intent to alter the bill to gain a
benefit is illegal. If someone alters a written instrument (such as a check)
without permission and with the intent to gain a benefit, then it is called
forgery, which is a crime. If one tried to alter a cash bill (like changing
a $5 bill to a $20 bill) for the purpose of presenting the altered bill to
gain a benefit, then that could be considered a forgery. Forgery of United
States Currency in this manner is called counterfeiting and carries with it
very stiff penalties.

So, as long as you don't obscure the value or the serial number, it's
perfectly Legal. :)

As for the bank 'destroying' the money....

Banks send the old, soiled, mutilated, etc. bills to the Federal Reserve to
be exchanged for new bills. These old bills must be deemed unsuitable for
circulation. In all likelihood, the cashier was setting your money aside so

Be careful of parked cars too. Not that it's illegal, but most cars are alarmed these days & sometimes even walking too close to them, never mind actually touching them, can set of an awful cacophony of ear-splitting noise that can cause unwanted reactions in passers-by and/or security employees in parking lots, etc. (The other day I noticed a car alarm go off when a bird pooped on it! That's how sensitive some of them are!)

And yes, it's illegal to use mailboxes in both the US & Canada & probably other places.

Public libraries are good -- I've put cards inside books. Leaving stacks for pick-up will probably just get them thrown into the trash, but when someone finds it between the pages of a book, they may stop to read. I haven't tried this but bookstores may also work.

Whenever I visit the Wal-Mart in the USA, I always find so many xian books and buybulls. I don't know if all the Walmarts in USA are laid out the same way (the books and magazines are next to the electronics section, near the back) but when it's not busy, and no one is looking around, I shove in anti-tracts into the books and buybulls. In Canada, I just visit Chapters, Indigo and other bookstores and shove anti-tracts into the books in the religious sections. I don't go on busy days or hours. So far, I have not been stopped.
Payphones in the subway and in malls are good places. So are those spots right by the escalator, either going up or down.
Scribbling www.exposingchristianity.com on the money every time I come into a bill. No one puts them aside, some actually look at it and smirk and put it into the register.
