As a Scorpio sign (water sign), I can vouch that water signs indeed have the deepest of emotions and are very much prone to depressions. The best way to counter that through meditations is through invoking the earth element (under the same section about invoking elements) as the earth element represents stable emotions. Fire gives you more aggression while air gives you more light-heartedness. I usually invoke the fire and earth elements (I haven't been able to do for a while due to lack of time, need to get back to it) to balance my water element. Ideally, all elements must be in balance.
Empath necessarily doesn't qualify as being related to a water element. Both Pisces (water sign) and Aquarius (air sign) are empaths. You will have to identify the right element to balance your element.

I am a Pisces a well I am not very compassionate I have moon in Taurus and the 10 house and and Pluto in Scorpio and Jupiter and a lot of my houses are in Pluto.I am really emotional. Hail Satan!
