Why is this on the invocation if Father Satan is said to be the bringer of light?

"I invite the Forces of Darkness to bestow their infernal power upon me."

*just curious ^.

Also, the nordics are an immortal race, including the enemy, then how are we to destroy them if they can't die?
Or is immortality a sense of not being harmed (physically) in any way that can cause physical death?

Hail Satan!!
Hail Ipos!!

The ''darkness'' is sign of opposition to the abrahamic religion and the rhp philosophies that put this unbalanced emphasies on ''light''.

Darkness also symbolizes the ''dark'' (feminine) aspect of the soul, which is the seat of the human subconcious mind. Satan is also known as ''Shiva'', which is a term for the female (dark) aspect of the soul. Similar thing goes for other terms such as ''Devi'' etc.. Satan is the master of the occult.

Also, keep in mind what Lord Enlil/Beelzebub said: "Darkness is light
turned inside out." My interpretation, and this only my interpretation
of what he said is, darkness is not bad, scary, evil or whatever. It
just is. Light and dark are polar opposites of one another, but they
are also codependent to a certain extent. Meaning, one cannot exist
without the other, and both are necessary. Hail Father Satan always!
Hail Lord Andras! Hail Sorath, the one who burns!

Over time I changed my view on this subject. Meaning, in the past I used to play a lot of PC games where there were 'the forces of darkness' - bs which I favoured.

But as we change, evolve, so do our views. And JoS, the teachings of Father are great in this respect.

The concept of darkness therefore, the way I see it, is that besides the opposite polarity, the meaning of it dualistic.

1. ignorance - promoted by the RHP doctrines as light.

2. the unknown (and knowable) - this what we don't know yet what we CAN learn and know (and which the RHP doctrines want to 'save' us from, thus condemning us to eternal oblivion)

I take it as because of the xian and all that and the suppressing of the female mind there is now to much light and so to counter that you must add more dark since if there is to much light you can not see and if there is to much dark you can not see *kinda like if your to close to the sun the planet burns up and if your to far the planet freezes you must be Goldilocks and be just right not to much not to little

Satan is all about balance. And balance is not 1 thing, it's multiple things in the same quantity.
