Question about: God rituals/summoning

I performed a ritual for Lilith but felt nothing overwhelming, while many describe such rituals as overwhelmingly intense.

This leads me to suspect I may not be vibrating the runes correctly. My core question is: how can I confirm a God ritual has been done successfully? With a summoning, success is clear: you know by the God's presence. sometimes its written in the ritual " focus on sigil while reading" how can i do both?

The steps i followed to summon which are against my common sense but i just felt i should do it instead of come here ask, and i am glad it worked but i want to make it better :

1. Visualised the sigil until I felt that i am ready.
2. Recited the prayer (to Zeus).
3. Returned to visualizing the sigil.
4. During the summoning, when I felt disconnected, I refocused on the sigil, which seems to reconnect me, confirm the presence and intensify the experience. The God made me feel him more when i refocused on sigil or/and made me know he is present.

During this i got questions:

.Does the length of visualisation determine the potency of the connection?

I typically visualize for only a minute or two before I start seeing colors or feeling internal shifts, or somehow feeling presence of the God, which prompts me to open my eyes and look for signs.

Should I instead continue visualizing for 5-10 minutes without breaking focus? Then open eyes..

Regarding incense: I keep it burning continuously throughout the session. Is this correct, should it be a one-time lighting? is it just formality?

I have strong intuition to perform God rituals daily with intent of getting closer to the Gods. But i need to make sure i am doing them right..

Hello! Personally, I prefer to focus on the ritual while vibrating the runes. I feel the power of both much more.

Take the time to say your prayers to the Gods and live the moment to the fullest without the constant fear of making mistakes. The Gods know that you are putting your whole self into it and that you do it with your heart.

After you complete the ritual, take as much time as you want to meditate on the seal of the God and talk to him.

As for incense, make sure it is natural and not something chemical. Also make sure it smells good.
