Question about dedication ritual.

Alright so this seems silly to even ask, but i just want to make sure.

Due to my current living situation procuring a proper candle for the dedication ritual is next to impossible. So I'm sitting here trying to come up with creative ass ways to do this.
Basically that lead to me taking a wax chunk (from a wax burner) that was blue, melting it down it down and shoving a match into it and compressing it around said match. So now I have the (Blueberry scented) wax piece match stick "candle" and I'm thinking.. "Will this even work?" And not will this work as in the way a normal candle works (Which begs to be asked anyways but Is'nt as important of a question), but will this work as in like will this ghetto-made wanna be candle be fit for use in a ritual.

So that's the question. Will my ghetto-wax-chunk-match-stick-blueberry-scented-nightmare of a candle suffice?

 have no idea what you mean by "Will this even work?". Do you desire to dedicate your Soul to Satan? That is what you should be asking your self.

Well yes. Had the answer been no I wouldn't even be considering this.

Its just I've had (like many others) the unfortunate displeasure of being heavily involved in organized religion for many years prior to this and past experiences have beat into my head that things like these need to be very fucking specific or its like talking to yourself. Something so beat into my head over the years just stays programmed for a bit I guess. I just wanted to be sure..

Well, the answers eased my conscience. Thanks.
As an update, I did my dedication ritual and the makeshift would be candle didnt work as a candle at all. The match burned for all of about 5 seconds then broke off at the wax part and wouldn't relight. I ended up just lighting the paper with a lighter...
Also the pen I was using (Which i had dented the tip in so ink wouldnt come out when writing) broke and ink got everywhere so I had to try and use my finger to sign so it ended up just being a giant smear of blood. But I'm sure father Satan understands. My heart was all there despite the complications.
