Question #720: Helping my partner with self-esteem

Hello, my partner is not an SS and he suffers from big self-esteem issues in relation to his appearance and he's obsessed with hygiene and over-washing himself, as well as wearing too much deodorant. He is so concerned with it that he's afraid of what my family will think if they were to meet him and that he's not worthy of me. He also has paranoid thoughts about my family thinking he's not good enough for me.

What can I do to help him overcome this? I personally think he's very handsome and I tell him every day, and I do everything I can to show appreciation to him and reinforce this belief.

Oh, and he's open to hatha yoga. He keeps saying he wants to start.
