Even when we have nothing to say, is it necessary to meditate on their Sigil?
I speak... not so often. A few times a year at most.
Nothing happens in my day to day. Or week. Or month.
I would like know others' views on this. Thank you.

One of my goals this year is to be closer to the gods. I have chosen a few gods that i have had a relationship with and focused on these. I prepared a ritual for each, that i will use as often i as i can.

I think meditating on the gods has so much benefits in the sense that their enormous amounts of energy will ultimately influence you physically in a positive way. So it is beneficial to meditate on Gods that you feel close to. You will become energetically stronger.

Yes, you don't need to talk all the time, just focusing on sigils is fine.
If you really want a friendship with your DG you have to talk to him/her, a few times a year is not enough.
Talking to them doesn't mean that every time something will happen, it can happen and it can't happen, you don't have to worry about it thinking that they are not listening to you because you don't get any signals.
