So I hardly ever pass professional interviews and it makes me depressed every time I go to an interview and don't end up getting called back especially for jobs I had wanted in the past. In fact all the jobs I ever had it's usually because the employer is very desperate for employees, or I have gotten jobs through agencies or where you just take a test and you can start working. But when it comes to professional interviews as in "tell me about yourself, tell me about your weaknesses..tell me about a time you had conflict with a boss or co worker ...etc." Have never ever landed any of those jobs. I have an upcoming interview next week and honestly I already feel like I already failed it like there is no need to even attend because I know the outcome of it. My last interview I went to where it was like that I went sick and honestly I shouldn't even have gone because it ended up being the worst one yet. I have even drank for a whole week before from not passing an interview before that because I even got a second interview and the lady seemed like she really liked me but no call at all after. I will never do that again don't worry I realized how foolish that was it just really destroys my self esteem which I am trying to work on as is.
Like I realize everyone can get nervous it's probably more than just nerves for me, maybe I do not know how to present myself as professional or something. I do not know how to answer traditional interview questions even with studying on youtube.
I am not sure how to become great because even with going to tons of interviews it makes no difference whatssoever.
I were to land this job it would be great because it's literally across from where I live and I always have to travel out of town to work because there is not many jobs in my town. Also it would be a good permanent position to have. It is very competitive however, like I imagine they want someone very professional and good at what they do. Anyways any advice for the underlying cause of why I fail interviews would be appreciated. Thank for any responses.
