I get what talismans are now been experimenting with some success and avoiding Yehuborim garbage I know what they can do but what is the point of attaching a thoughtform to a talisman and why is it an advanced thing as mentioned on the props page

I think this is because the item is something which you are giving energy/power to. This can be a difficult task for newer SS to handle.

Additionally, HPHC mentioned awhile back that the meditation section would be getting an upgrade. This takes time, but I'm sure with new information coming in it will be better explained and understood.
