Question #4237: Piercings

When I was in a very strange period in my life I got a lip piercing, I took it out almost immediately because I was afraid of the scar. My question is are piercings bad from a spiritual point of view? Have I damaged my soul in any way? Is there any meditation/affirmation I can do to prevent a noticeable scar?

Oh right... the damaging the soul part. I don't think this is the case but I'd like to see other responses confirming this. I can't see it being the case as many people have accidents and still can meditate and overcome their injuries through meditation. When it occurs with negative intent however, I think there may be some negative karma that can in turn affect the soul.
