Question #3480: Pyrokinesis

I currently can heat up things but not to the point to light a candle. How can I generate more heat and do pyrokinesis?

By simply growing in spiritual power, or vril, bioelectricity, you name it. This will give you the strength necessary to start a fire since you can already heat things up.

Also if you haven't done the invoking fire element (in this case congratulations, you're naturally talented), it is recommended to do the invoking fire so you get more used to it.
