Pseudo-Yehubor Name

I was talking to this Aryan girl today and I made a nasty comment about Yehuborim, and she laughed. Then she goes",I didn't want to say nothing because I had thought you were one of 'em." "Hell no!" I said. "Do I look like a Yehubor to you?" She says ", No its not that, its your name I thought was Yehuborim."
It's not the first time someone has thought that and it really bothers me. "Gardner" is English (though even without the Yehuborim ring to it I hate the wiccan association as well.) But it has that "Garber" sound or "Goldner" or whatever it is that makes it sound that way. I can't legally change my name for certain legal reasons that are against me, and I would not have even included the name in my identity on this site, but it turned out that way, an oversight I made, and now I'm worried you're all gonna think I'm a snot-nose Hymenberger. I don't know what good saying any of this will do but I had to say something after today's incident.

I can relate to that! My first name is a common hebrew name that I shorten to just "Dai" by removing the other consonants. My last name is Newman ,changed from Niemann when my family immigrated to America from Germany. I would like to change it back to it's original spelling, but I just don't have the funds. I just hold my heritage proudly & carry on.

on the Bing surname , again I cant find any family history it only goes sop far and my family was very poor ,even when I grew up we didnt have much, since I dedicated things have changed and I wasnt even asking for it. Anyhow I would still like any ideas to my surname because it has drove me nutts in the past!!!!!!!!!!!!!
