I was reading a little about Babylonian traditions, and in this study I found some ancient prayers that the priests recited and that were found, after finding them I started to wonder about them, because as already said, prayers are a conversation with the gods, so why did they repeat the same written prayers over and over again?

It reminded me a little of the yehuborim, they have prayers that they repeat constantly, these are magical and connected to Hebrew, were these ancient prayers something similar, only linked to ancient pagan languages? Was it from them that the yehuborim stole their own?

This pdf has some Babylonian prayers, it's kind of corrupt like almost all the content about Babylon, but it looks good.

If they were using an occult language then these are probably spells for specific things in the world. You have to repeat things same way we do the Rituals. Yeah the same way the yehuborim do things too (but also the same way anyone would with occult stuff like this) but the difference is they are curses and stuff to bring down the world. The ancient pagans would have been fighting to make it better. So it's really the opposite.
