power of sound

According to David R. Hawkins, in his 4th book Truth vs. Falsehood, the sound OM calibrates at 740, in the enlightenment energy range. AUM calibrates at 65, in the apathy energy level. The mantra AUM is 210 just above courage and integrity, and the name of God as OM at 975 level. (God here referring to the "karmic unity we call God", the ultimate reality, the universe, the Allness. This is not to be confused with the Christian's 'disturbed child or parent' they call God. Hawkins is referring to everything that is, just as Osho does in the book of secrets. We all make up this Allness.
Just so there is a clear understanding.
Anyway, I use meditating on the sound OM for a while. It gets me energetically 'revved' up.
Christians would call this 'sound' the 'word of God'. Again, this is the sound of the universe, vibrations that make cause everthing to have form, and NOT the christian deity.
So, this is another technique one can look into if they want.

This 'OM' mantra is a corruption. It is derrived from AUM which has been written about extensivly by the HP's.

It was changed to 'OM' as it holds little to no power or significance, in comparison to its original AUM.
