The Dhaka University Central Students Union (DUCSU) election is such an election that (after Hasina’s downfall) will almost 98% determine which party will run Bangladesh in future national politics. We, the true patriotic Bangladeshis—the Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, Christians, the common people—fought against Islamic rule in 1971 against Pakistan and emerged victorious. They destroyed much of our wealth. They subjected our mothers and sisters to mass rapes, the pain of which continues to this day. And now, after 54 years, for the first time in Bangladesh’s history, Islamic rule is about to begin again. How unfortunate is this Bengali nation, being destroyed under Islamic governance. How foolish this nation has become. Alas!
Once, this Bengali nation was abundant in wealth, comparable to the Egyptians in Asia. At one time, this Bengali community was richer than more than half of the countries in the world. In this nation, people once practiced devotion to Mahadev Shiva. The Brahmin society developed on this Bengali soil. Cultural practice flourished among the Bengali people. This Bengali language (Sadhu language) originates entirely from Sanskrit language directly. But after Islamic rule began, many words in this language were changed by Islamic rulers to erase the blood of Shiva from the Bengali nation.
What is the Noakhali riot? Search it on Google to understand the barbarity of Islamic rule. If you need the link, I can provide it. The Bengali nation was once called the Shankar nation because they practiced devotion to Mahadev Shankar—Shiva. Another name for Shiva is Shankar. You can look this up thoroughly on Google.
What is the difference between India and the Bengali nation? This question arises, doesn’t it? India is an independent sovereign country, as you all know. I am not disrespecting my Hindu brothers; of course, there will be differing opinions. But love will always come first for my Hindu countrymen, my brothers and sisters. I will just say this: Who composed the national anthem of India? Rabindranath Tagore. He was a Bengali. The Bengali people played an important role in India’s freedom struggle. Even though the 1857 Sepoy Mutiny is called India’s first war of independence, Bengalis were the first to lead organized political movements against the British, Pakistan, Islamists, etc.
From the late 1800s, Bengalis became active in fighting British rule. Bankim Chandra Chatterjee’s song “Vande Mataram” inspired national pride. Leaders like Surendranath Banerjee, Rabindranath Tagore, Subhas Chandra Bose, Bagha Jatin, Khudiram Bose, Pritilata Waddedar, and Masterda Surya Sen worked tirelessly to inspire United India people to fight for freedom.
The 1905 anti-partition movement in Bengal was very important. It was the first large-scale protest that brought many Indian people together. Bengalis led this movement, giving hope and strength to Indian freedom fighters across India.
In the history of India’s independence, the Bengali community—the Bengali race, the brave Bengali people, Bengali clans, Bengali tribes, Bengali origin, The Bengalis—were the first guiding nation. Their leadership, bravery, and hard work showed all of India the path to independence. Historians in India may have differing opinions, which is natural, but what is written in history remains.
This Bengali nation is now on the verge of being mostly destroyed. In the near future, the Islamic political party Jamaat-e-Islami will run Bangladesh. National elections will largely be controlled by leaders of the victorious Islamic rulers from DUCSU elections. Media will report that votes were cast by the people, but in reality, the national elections will be fully orchestrated by the Islamic party Jamaat-e-Islami. They will secure the seats for their own party.
Right now, it is 4:07 a.m. on my side. On the streets, Islamic slogans “Allahu Akbar” are echoing. This country is turning into a Taliban-like state. Tomorrow morning, this country will belong to Islamic rulers, merely waiting for national elections. As I said earlier, Islamic leaders will run the national elections, with a 98% chance of winning. I feel immense pain for the ordinary people of this country. I am speechless. I want to tell you all one thing—write it down if necessary. Do not trust any media in Bangladesh. Do not believe any news from Bangladesh. There is no way to know the real truth of Bangladesh from the streets or media. The media is 100% controlled by Islamic politicians. If you want to know the true news of Bangladesh, come to Bangladesh and talk to the rural workers. Even though they are influenced by the Islamic rulers, you will 100% hear from their mouths that life was better under Hasina, food was better, and life went on well. A Hindu leader once said, “If you want to know the true state of a country, go to its villages.”
Anyway, my economy is in crisis. I am financially broken. My back is against the wall. Therefore, I cannot help with Translation and Outreach work right now. I have no money, my stomach is empty, and my mind is not in the good place. How can I work? Nevertheless, I will resume Translation work from winter. I will continue to try according to my capacity. Please pray for me.
Good night,
my brothers.
