So my friend and i did the ritual thing but he was the one who looked it up and he never told me about the prayer so we never ended up saying it do i have to do it over?

Usually the rituals is only doable once, but you didn't say the prayer wich is pretty much the main idea behind the ritual so I think you should yes.

Usually the rituals is only doable once, but you didn't say the prayer wich is pretty much the main idea behind the ritual so I think you should yes.
