I find it very difficult to do visualization. I just can not seem to form a picture in my mind. I tell myself that I see something and then focus as hard as I can to visualize that picture, but I just can't.
Does anyone have some tips for me, please?

Look at the description of this group and then close your eyes. Ask yourself what kind of symbol has this group in it's description and what kind of lettering around it. If you can remember that there's a baphomet with the sumerian cuneiform it means you can visualize perfectly. The problem is usually because you try hard and strain yourself. DON'T do that. It's great to ask questions like the above ones, they bring you the image back automatically. Or there's another trick if you're trying to visualize an object infront of you: Look at an object, blink your eyes many times while still looking at it and after a minute or more close your eyes and you'll see a mental pic of the object, this happens automatically.

As easy as that... I see what you mean by trying too hard. Sometimes we want whistles and bells, but then it happens just so easily and quietly, but yet perfect.
Thank you very much.

That's the principle in all spiritual work, not only visualization. It's best done in a relaxed way and without expectations. It's like having a light switch. Some of them can turn the lights on just by touching on them and are very sensitive. If you hit them hard nothing more will happen, and you may actually have it malfunction and the opposite result. What most people do when they try too hard it's like striking the switch with all their force and making it malfunction.

This not only applies in your spiritual work, but material life too.

Very wise words these. I have realized last night when I practiced some random visualizing images that it has to come from within. The images are already in my mind and I thing the mistake I made was that I wanted it to come from outside into my mind's eye. I found that this is where Shannon's advice of empowering the 3rd eye and upper chakras prove it's power.
Thank you :)
