I find it to your advantage to spend the money on the Power Meditation book and CD set found on JoS.  Start going through that book, and it gives you details on how to do things.  You can find it on the site as well, but it is easier if you have the book (you don't have to hunt for it, and if ACTA or CISPA comes or you find yourself without electricity, you can still find the instructions and follow them).  Paying for things you can get online for free also helps support the JoS site, which in turn helps it to expand and reach more people (bandwidth costs money) and rewards the High Priestess Pythia for her hard work in creating and maintaining the site. And yes, I do believe that opening the Third Eye has to come first.  If you can't do that, you are going to have a miserable time trying to do anything else.  At the very least, you are not going to easily tell whether something is working, or if it is just a brilliant imagination not tying to anything else.  Anyone can imagine a chakra spinning correctly or glowing the correct color; unless you can tie it in with its actual condition, that is about as valuable to your soul as "cheat crunches" are to getting your abs in condition.  The book will give you further instructions in order that you need to follow. Also, if you haven't yet purchased the Satanic Sermons, I recommend doing so (there are 9, and you get the best price if you buy them all together plus only one order instead of 9 different ones).  Once you get them, I suggest listening to them as soon as possible, and then going through them on a rotating basis as you get time.  Anyone with children should go through them together, particularly if the children are significantly older than you are in Satanism.  If they have been xians for most of their lives, discussing the CD sermons may well open their eyes.  Use the time they used to use to attend church sessions for this, and in place of LIE[/B]-ble study.  Though they will probably have to adjust, I believe it's easier for most older children and teens to adjust from xianity to Satanism than to adjust from no religion to xianity. is what it seems to be. I spent most of my life inside my head wondering
what the fuck is going on because the feeling that somthing was not
right has always been there. I stopped drinking a few years back and

Hey everyone... New member here....Im pretty simple. Im a witch. I'm not per say a Satan worshiper. Ive got views on Deities which Ill one day post if anyone wants to know. Im here because I like the mind frame of most in darker arts ( lack of better term) there is right and wrong to me, but i think Karma in of itself isn't because one did something. I think shit sometimes just happens. I also think that it's up to the person to do how or what they see fit. Aside from murder child abuse etc ( just threw that out there) I have worked with angels, elements and some demon assistance. I think that I call on a specific entity for a specific cause. i use everybody lol.
I read the web site and find the information clean cut and informative. that's what I liked about it. Im sure there is a lot to learn from the elders and some of the practicing members.
Little back round on me. Ya i said witch part lol. I studied the older traditions OTO, Hermatic, and Wicca. I also studied Buddhism and I come from a history of Orthodoxy. My granddad was a priest. So I've got much back round from many perspectives. I'm open minded, respect everyone, not a hater but i am a straight shooter. I've no issues with debate opinions or any of the such. just when it comes to my posts comment respectfully and Ill listen to whatever you want to say. If I come across as abrupt, its cuz I am. But i think Im pretty cool to talk to

Hi. I'm new here. As my name suggests, I'm an 'extian' - and ex Christian. I read through the JoS site and have become very intrigued by it. It has helped me realise that Christians are not what they claim to be and there is much evidence that they are against helping people like they claim to. They pretend to be friendly and calling me mate, but when I don't do something or don't attend for a time they don't bother contacting me. They seem like hypocrites and only out for themselves. I'm glad I read through the JoS site as it has helped me, however I still need help in breaking free from Christianity in my mind. I want to break out of it but I don't feel I am able to on my own.

I've been involved with Christians for too long and I'm sick and tired, so I would like to know how Satan can help me in breaking free of the trap I feel I'm in from there. Frankly, I hate Christianity, and the sooner I am fully out of it the better. I have not yet performed the dedication ritual so I'm technically not a Satanist yet, but that's what my first question is about: is there anything I can or should do before performing the dedication ritual, or should that be the very first thing for me to do? I am willing and able to perform it as and when I should. Also to make perfectly sure, what things can I do to know I am truly free? Trust is not easy for me because I've been burnt too many times in the past by people claiming to help me and claiming to be my friend.

In order to break free from xianity completely you need to deprogram yourself. Read https://templeofzeus.org/LiturgicalTerms.php as a start. In order to break free from it you need to see how it is all a lie and find out the truth then you'll see xianity for what it really is... This will also help you break out of your xian mindset along with yoga and power meditation. Satan isn't like the fake xian god. You don't ask him to do things like "breaking free from xianity" when your are capable of doing it on your own. Satan only helps when something is out of your control. You have to deprogram yourself and break free from xianity on your own.

In regards to the question about your dedication. You should do it when your ready to commit to this path and when you know that this is the place for you. This is can be done by reading the JoS and it's related sites. You can try some meditations if you want to also. As for you finding it hard to trust ppl. Then read what's on the site, the information there speaks for itself. And the meditations speak for themselves all you have to do is do the research and practice the meditations and you will see what I mean.

I have not yet performed the dedication ritual so I'm technically not a Satanist yet, but that's what my first question is about: is there anything I can or should do before performing the dedication ritual, or should that be the very first thing for me to do? I am willing and able to perform it as and when I should. Also to make perfectly sure, what things can I do to know I am truly free? Trust is not easy for me because I've been burnt too many times in the past by people claiming to help me and claiming to be my friend.

Then read what's on the site, the information there speaks for itself. And the meditations speak for themselves all you have to do is do the research and practice the meditations and you will see what I mean.

Hello Everyone,
I am a new member here, as I dedicated my entire life and soul to Father Satan on November 13th 2015 at 12:05 am.  I searched google for True Satanism, and found the Joy of Satan website, where I studied and read the entire site over a one month period, and felt that I came home.
I am retired from the military, and have started my 40 days of meditation.  I am a former xtian, and former clergy.  Once I am ready, I will join Satan's Army to help destroy the enemy.  I have always been attracted to the occult, and especially Satanism, and I believe that I have been a satanist during previous life times. 
I want to thank the Joy of Satan Clergy for teaching the truth on the website because if it weren't for them, no one would've found the truth, and none of us would've dedicated our souls to Father Satan, and to Father Satan I am truly grateful for all of the true teachings, to become truly free and have true liberty, and protection among other things.
