Are they supposed to be done just the one time on that specific date when the planets are right, or are they to be continued from that point on?

Maxine has written more and more of late about the importance of certain dates for specific spiritual workings and for starting certain stages of the Magnum Opus.

You should be doing these meditations on the dates recomended along witht he meditations.

"The following meditation must be performed during a powerful waxing full Moon. The Moon should not be debilitated or in its sign of detriment [Capricorn] or fall [Scorpio]. This meditation is most powerful when performed with a powerful full Moon, when the moon is in its home sign of Cancer or when it is exalted in the sign of Taurus, otherwise, you will be wasting your time. The ancients knew patience in regards to power."

Emphasis: "The ancients knew patience in regards to power."

In my opinion better slow and steady than fast and reckless.
