Here are some principles that I hold as far as gay, bi, trans people and whatnot, in an order that takes things from basic to more detailed. Here's my position:
1. If you believe being gay, trans, bi or any other sexuality/kink that describes an action between two consensual adults of similar genetics is wrong on principle, you are going directly against Lord Satan's directions for us.
2. Forming a family with children is the most productive and generally fufilling way to handle your love life. That being said, each life has a different purpose and each soul is unique. So just as a lot of people will not aim to be millionaires, a lot of people will not aim to start a heterosexual family and have children. This is both healthy for a society (if you think it's detrimental you've bought into christian propaganda) and acceptable for one's spiritual growth.
3. Alright, I've been accepting and tolerant enough. Let's address it. "Degeneracy" is still bad. What is it?
There are many forms of it. Gay people who perform shitty kink demonstrations at parades is degenerate behavior, and we would consider it degenerate for a straight couple to do as well. Random careless fornication is degenerate regardless of sexuality.
The most popular form of degeneracy in the modern queer community is trying to use queerness, often exaggerated for social validation.
When you are uneducated emotionally and haven't worked on yourself, you see the compassion that tolerant people give you when you are marginalized and you attempt to capitalize on compassion, as the little good you have in life, by further marginalizing yourself. As we further normalize labels of sexuality and gender, the chronically brainrotted and emotionally uneducated crowd picks up new, even more marginalized labels.
Wendy, 16, is a demisexual aromantic sapphic bisexual demiboy because she's probably bi, and her parents didn't teach her how to earn validation in any way other than claiming persecution.
I used to engage in this and now I'm so baffled at how sad of a person I was. Self victimizing like some kind of christian. Nowadays I barely ever even label myself as bi, as it hardly even matters when I'm happily taken in a straight relationship.
It's okay to be gay, bi, whatever the hell your brain is wired to enjoy. And unlike what other people in here might say, it is okay to take pride in your past persecution as a sexual minority.
Past persecution. Don't sit there and feel sad for yourself.
