My first ritual

I want to do my first ritual to form a bond with father god, but as i read into the rituals and the inner temple where you can do rituals i got a bit confused. Do i need to use candles to burn my prayer or can i use any flame. I don't have access to any red blue or black candles or a chalice to drink from or a bowls as described to burn the prayer in.

i apologize, i meant the astral temple. I have no knowledge or experience with the ether plane.

I guess you want to do the dedication ritual. If you do it in your astral temple, you can do everything in it, you have the paper there, and burn it there however you want.
Although I'm not sure how a beginner would be capable of this as this requires a good visualization / astral sight, and deep trance.

But you can do all this physically also. In this case you need a candle, paper, pen, something that you can pick your finger with to bleed, and a plate or anything you can put your burning paper in.
I would advise to do it outside if possible as it creates a lot of smoke.

You either do it physically or in your astral temple, there is no middle option.
