my best friend could die of rat poison. what should I do?

Rat poinson wouldn't cause someone to act like this, or act differently in that case. It will make the person extremely ill and is quite dangerous. If she is indeed consuming rat poison, then perhaps you should alert a doctor or authorities for her own safety and wellbeing. Especially if she is be force fed it.

Perhaps you need to have a serious talk to her about why she is changing her mind about these plans you had made. Maybe she has just had a change of mind, and wants to try to go back to college and succeed this time, instead of running away with a friend. Its possible she dosn't want to share the information or items of her grandmother with you because you intend to do a deathspell on her? Just saying.

Take a step back and take a look at the situation from a different perspective. Get all the facts before making assumptions.
