My beautiful dedication ritual with a few hiccups...

Hello!

I finally dedicated to Satan after almost one year studying JOS and meditating. It was quite an experience. I was so nervous and excited preparing my space. My boyfriend and I bought some travel lancets and they worked perfectly and didn't hurt at all.

I had a few minor hiccups that I'm hoping don't matter... I started signing my name with a toothpick dipped in my blood before reciting the prayer and I stopped and started to recite the prayer. Then I continued to sign. I couldn't get the last two letters so I licked my finger to reactivate the blood and finished it.

As the paper burned, an overwhelming feeling in my chest and throat came over me and I started to cry. Happy tears. As I continued to watch it burn I saw my writing dissolve into the ash.

Because I was so overwhelmed and nervous, I completely forgot the last portion of the prayer, "So mote it be."
I couldn't remember, so I finished off with a "Hail Satan!" I don't think it was loud enough.

Because I felt so emotional, I take it that my dedication was fine without closing it with "So mote it be" but I just wanted to make sure.  Any thoughts?

My boyfriend of 11 years and father of my children also did the ritual. It went very well for him. We were thinking of going to a lake or woods together and spreading the ashes of our dedication. Has anyone done something like this before? Thanks in advance!

Hail Satan!

Few people's dedication ritual go smoothly or perfectly. It's what in their heart that matters. Don't worry about missing "so mote it be."Hail Satan!
