My astral vision is dim

Hello. Last year, I practiced astral vision a lot (20 or more minutes a day) for about a month or two after I opened my third eye. A day or two after opening it, I could see a bright color. Over time, as I practiced for shorter periods (just a few minutes a day), my astral vision began to decline, which discouraged me, so I stopped practicing.

A few weeks ago, I started training it again, but to no avail. No matter how hard I try to practing it, I only see a very faint color that I can barely make out. Last year, it was never faint. I'm also doing Thaum vibes, but it seems to be useless. What can I do to see as clearly as before?

It's common that, after a period of intense openness followed by a pause, perception may seem "cloudy" or dim when resuming practice. This doesn't mean you've lost the ability, but rather that the channel requires a different tuning. Here are the key points to regain that clarity:

1. The Obstacle of Expectation
One of the biggest obstacles to astral vision is trying to replicate a past experience. By specifically searching for that "bright color" from last year, your conscious mind enters a state of judgment and comparison.

The key: Approach each session as if it were the first time. Astral vision flourishes in passive attention. If you try too hard to "see," you activate your physical vision and mental tension, which blocks the reception of subtle frequencies.

2. Technical Practice and Awareness
Within awareness meditations (such as those practiced at the Temple of Zeus), the foundation is the complete relaxation of the eye muscles and the space between the eyebrows.

Regarding Thaum Vibes: If you feel they aren't working, make sure you're not listening analytically. The vibration should be felt physically in the area of the third eye, without pressure.

Progressive Patience: Frustration generates an energetic density that closes the chakra. It's better to practice for 5 minutes with complete calm than for 20 minutes with anxiety about getting results.

3. Astarte's Guidance
As the regent of clairvoyance, the connection with Astarte is fundamental to clearing the veils.

Opening Rituals: Before beginning your training, perform a small devotional act or request to Her, perform Her Power ritual to connect with Her. Ask Her to guide your vision and cleanse any energetic impurities that are clouding your current perception.

Devotion over Outcome: Treat the practice as an offering of time and discipline to the Deity, rather than a personal goal. This often releases pressure and allows clarity to return naturally.

4. Checking Your Intention

Sometimes, vision becomes dim when the purpose of the practice shifts toward control or ego. Astral clarity is a reflection of inner clarity.

Tip: Make sure your desire to "see" is aligned with spiritual growth and wisdom. When the intention is clear and balanced, the channels open much more freely.

The Connection Between the Pineal Gland and the Sixth Chakra

To regain clarity in astral vision, it is essential to understand that the third eye is not an isolated point, but rather an integrated system comprised of both biological and energetic components.

The Pineal Gland as a Physical Receptor:
This gland, located in the center of the brain, acts as the physical "seat" of spiritual vision. It is a biological transducer that converts subtle frequencies into mental images. When vision becomes dim, it is often because the connection between the vibrational stimulus (such as Thaum Vibes) and the gland is blocked by tension. In practice, the key is not to "look" with the eyes, but to allow the vibration to resonate directly in the brainstem where the pineal gland resides.

The Sixth Chakra (Ajna) as a Command Center:
The third eye is, in fact, a functional extension of the sixth chakra. This energy center governs profound perception and the ability to "see" beyond the material world. If the chakra is unbalanced due to frustration or excessive effort, energy doesn't flow with the necessary power for the pineal gland to project clear images.

Synchronization of the System:
Astral vision is a combination of factors. If the sixth chakra is active but there is mental tension, the pineal gland cannot process the information. To see with the clarity of before, it is vital to relax the nervous system so that the chakra's energy flow properly nourishes the gland, allowing perception to arise naturally and not forced.

Read the meditations again, especially those about the chakras, focusing on the ones you want to open and strengthen. Be patient.

It might be a problem with your pineal gland. This has neuro-receptors that enables psychic vision that can easily get out of balance.
The ancient Egyptians represented this pine shaped gland with spiritual enlightenment and rebirth, othen associated with the God Osiris and the concept of eternal life. But more about that soon with a post I'll be making.

Try this meditation which can fully open the third eye and activate the pineal gland, but also realise this is very powerful, getting right down to the atomic level. Make sure you do adequate cleaning and pranayama before:

Hi Yeye,

Please be careful with the use of AI in your answer, as it introduced various claims that appear as New Age in origin, not from ToZ sources.

For example: "vision becomes dim when the purpose of the practice shifts toward control or ego". Did the Clergy say this? Was it your personal opinion or observation?

We have to be aware that the AI has a known tendency to speak authoritatively on concepts it does not understand fully, especially if prompted directly to solve or answer something. This can lead to confident sounding claims that are not entirely true, nor have any specific evidence behind them.

Someone then reads this answer and believes it is a common fact on ToZ, a fact that the Clergy had said somewhere, or something you directly observed, but this was not the case. Over time, and with the speed that AI generation allows, this can lead to a degradation of knowledge if too many errors slip through.

This is all in reference to control and an unhealthy ego, of course; perhaps I failed to clarify that. It's not really New Age stuff; it's just that I've had to deal with my inflated ego for a long time, and it really held me back in many ways, along with the feeling of control based on that inflated ego. So perhaps I didn't explain myself well enough regarding the emotional aspect. I'm not saying to simply eliminate the ego; the virtues of Temple of Zeus (ToZ) discuss the emotional aspect as a strength. So yes, that mistake was mine in not exploring in more detail how to use that strength for something better.

Hello, Head Guardian. I share this from the humility of my own process, based on my experiences, my journals, and the ideas that have emerged from my spiritual growth. I have been working on opening my third eye for over a year, and I have learned that this is a path that is traveled step by step. In my Latin American culture, we deeply value the act of explaining, breaking down, and supporting others. We don't limit ourselves to the basics; for us, it is important that knowledge be clear and accessible. That is why I like to delve deeper into the answers: it's not just about making a statement for the sake of it, but about sharing what has been vital for my own evolution. I understand that there are cultures that limit themselves to the elementary, but I choose to honor my roots by explaining the "why" of things. I see our body and mind as a temple. In many traditions, caring for this temple is the foundation for the flow of energy. If we don't cultivate our essence, control and ego can arise and cloud our astral vision, hindering the progress we have worked so hard for. Regarding the use of technology, I want to clarify that I use AI solely to organize my own ideas. The responses are not automatic or external; they reflect what I've had to decipher on my own, often without finding in-depth answers or clear explanations elsewhere. AI helps me give organized format to what's already in my mind, so the message reaches you with the dignity it deserves. I understand that this doesn't violate any rules, as I share my experiences here as they are. Everything is also based on what I've learned in ToZ along with my empirical experience. And I believe that empirical experience doesn't violate any of the forum rules either. I simply leverage technology to explain things better... In this way, I ensure the message is coherent, since not everyone has the ability to write everything in an explanatory way.
