I was sitting down this morning, drinking my morning coffee, balancing my checkbook, and just enjoying the time before reality starts anew.
My flower of Tranquility was stomped on by a knocking at my front door.
I went out the kitchen the door and found two creatures of beauty on my front step.
I thought, "Father Satan has left a gift on my door step for my undying faith and loyality."
But, alas, that to was shattered when I saw the name tags.
"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints," they read. Talk about a Cock Block.
They proceeded to ask if they could come in and talk to me about Jesus Christ. I pointed to the various bumper stickers on my truck that proclaim my very NON-CHRISTIAN views and told them to read the truck.
Now, I fully support the freedom of speech and freedom of religion. But, I also support the freedom to not listen to your bullshit and freedom FROM religion.
When have you ever had a follower of Asatru knock on your door and tell you that you must follow Odin or Thor will smash your Naughty Bits with his Hammer?
Or a Jew asking you to listen while he tells you about Moses?
Or the Muslim saying, "Let me tell you about Allah, Infidel,"...........BOOM!!!!!!!
If the God you believe in really created the Earth, the Universe and everything we see in 7 days, I think if there was something He really needed me to know, I think HE could get the message to me. I'm sure it would be more creative then two glassy-eyed trollups on a Sunday morning.
If you want to follow a religion based on an illegitimate birth of a boy, then more power to you.
But come on, if your dautgher came home and told you, "I am pregnant and God is the father," how long before you would have her called a whore and chastized?
But hey, at least us Satanists don't pest you on a Sunday.
