Moon in aquarius [Helpp soon!!!!!!]

I'm trying to make a big change in my life, I'm trying to move in with a different family member in another state.
This is a possibility but he's a bit of a jerk and I'm afraid he might change his mind and say no.
Anyway, I've put together some herbs and such, and have put together a little routine of starting a very small fire (in a cup actually haha)
sprinkling the herbs (i looked up their meanings and it's a very nice blend I made, alittle proud of myself as ive never done this before )
in the fire as I visualize energies with colors pertaining to whatever I'm saying going out and making things the way I way I want, so to say.
Basically doing affirmations while meditating,
and I have Father's sigil and Belial's (my guardian/guide) as well,
I visualize those while I do this.
I state each affirmation (there are three) six times.
then I say something along the lines of 'in the name of lord enki, almighty lucifer, may these energies go out into the world and acheive my desires.'
and then a hail Satan&Belial.
I have only done this once but was pleased with it.

NOW! The questions!
I haven't been a satanist that long or done much magick working.
But assume it's alright to make your own meditations/rituals?
Also, is this, or could this be, an effective one?
Ways I can improve it?
And there's a void moon at the moment.
The moon goes into aquarius tomorrow or something like that,
I'm aquarius and also father is, so if aquarius is his sign and the moon is in it would it be a good/powerful time to start something like that? Liek it would be more effective or would it not make much of a difference?

I'm sorry if I seem unclear, I'm terrible at explaining these things.

I would post this in the Joy of Satan main eGroup, if you want a varied amount of comments. There seems to be more professionals in that group, than in the teens group.
