Are all our memories of past lives stored in our DNA?

I highly doubt because when you reincarnate you get a new body with new DNA so you would lose the past lives memories since you lose your past lives physical bodies.
Well from my point of view memories are thoughts, therefore they are energy. I think the soul is capable of storing this energy.
