Meditation revision

AvatarFamousSirius3382 min to read

Hello brothers and sisters,

My daily meditation schedule usually takes me about 2-1/2 - 3 hours when I include the time rituals require. I would like to revise my routine just so it can feel fresh and a flow I can concentrate on better. I find difficulty incorporating the awareness and/or ethics into my routine and I try to read and study any time I can but it is difficult with my day schedule. I would love your help revising my routine to be efficient but most effective without sacrificing progress.

Morning :

  • Hatha Physical Routine

  • 10-12 minutes completely still to generate energy buzz ( I usually incorporate Void Meditation here, recently I’ve been struggling to hold focus)

  • Returning Curses 1&2 (Both daily)

  • AC, AP, CS, VM

Night:

  • KY Routine

  • 10-12 minutes completely still(VM)

  • Some sort of breathing exercise

  • AC, AP, CS and/or Twin/Single Serpent (something chakra related)

  • Ritual of the day

  • Personal prayer to Father Zeus and Guardian Daemon

It’s very frequent I’m doing the purifying or deep cleanse programs we have in the community and/or magickal workings such as Planetary Square or Rosary. I do the sweeping light chakra cleaning atleast once a week but prefer to do it twice. I don't want to burn out nor do I feel like this is enough to get me there. My day to day schedule with work and such it is enough to be difficult sometimes especially with how volatile my work days can be. Some nights I can get 8 hours of sleep some I can only get close to 4. If I wanted to skip the 10-12 minutes of complete stillness could I? Is there other things I can be doing so this routine doesn’t take 2-1/2 - 3 hours but closer to 1-1/2 - 2-1/2? Anything else I should change to keep things fresh or something I can do extra of on my day off to save time days I work? Thank you all♥️

i'm not sure about all of the short hand you've used so I'm only commenting on the non shorthand. Since we are currently doing God Rituals do you really need to do the Returning Curses? that bit to me seems to be the part that could be cut if you really want to since your doing a lot of cleaning and aop i'm assuming. the rest of your schedule i'm not sure about though awesome for you for having been doing this for so long. good luck.

Yes It is ideal to do Aura cleaning and Aura of Protection/Returning curses daily. This represents "basic cleaning" since we come in contact with negative energies at all times. Not that they "ruin" the soul or anything scary but it is a good spiritual hygiene so to say to clean aura daily.

I understand, I thought that the Returning Curses was the old ritual that was done to destroy the jew alphabet. but it sounds like I got something mixed up. I had also assumed that they were doing the usual aop which has a strong cleansing white light. so that's why I said what I said. I hope op figures out a good schedual for themselves.

Greetings FamousSirius328, that is definitely a serious meditation schedule. If you are looking to reduce the overall meditation time there are few things you can do:

  • You can reduce the foundation meditation from 10-12 minutes to perhaps 5, that is also a good period of time.

  • On Hatha and Kundalini Yoga you can reduce the period of time for each position although Yoga is generally very healthy for the mind and body. Only reduce the times here if you feel that the current times you are doing are overwhelming.

  • How long does your AoP take? That might possibly be made shorter but the important factor here is not how much time you spend on this meditation but whether you feel fully "clean" of negative energy after. This could possibly be achieved in a shorter period of time if your focus and visualization are on point, which likely are if you do void meditation daily.

There are many useful meditations that can be done daily however these will depend really on your needs and goals. Things like visualization exercises, working on the astral senses, working with the Elements are useful to be done constantly for someone intermediate and up, also meditating on "secondary" chakras that are also very important such a temple, hips and shoulders chakras, however if schedule is busy they don't have to be done daily necessarily, they could be done weekly or so.

This is a rich meditation schedule (in a good way).

Is it comfortable for you to do hatha in the morning and KY at night? I find hatha being difficult to perform during the early morning hours, and kundalini yoga gives me too much energy to perform at night (this is just a personal preference, but I'm curious about how it works for you).

I personally wanted to remind you to always use an affirmation after both yoga sessions (so, before you perform the void meditation, first state your affirmation and visualize it). If you can't think of a physical desire (to direct your energies there), you could even do a healing affirmation while visualizing white gold light around you.

I also wanted to ask, why do you have difficulty incorporating the awareness meditations in your schedule? Is it a lack of time or a lack of focus?

Finally, at some point you mentioned having difficulty focusing. If your daily schedule (at work, life) is very hectic, you may find the SaTaNaMa meditation extremely helpful. It has helped me a lot in times of distress; it brings calmness, stability.

As for reducing the time, this is me, but I only do aura of protection once a day. Also, I keep the time of lying down in corpse pose close to 5 minutes, not as much as you do. Of course, the longer period, the better you'll feel the energy, but it's not always easy to go that long.

Also, although the returning of curses are very useful meditations, if I were you, I would put a "time period" to them. For example, do them for 3 months; then do something else, or give yourself more time to do other physical things when you complete that time period.

In that way, you can also look forward to a completion date, and to start something new, experimenting with other things, too.

Thank you for sharing :)

I personally find Hatha easier in the morning because I love to do my routine in sunlight which gives me lots of energy already. KY is nice at night because if I’m tired after a very long day it gives me a boost and is easier for AC/AP at nighttime.

I’d love to know, what kind of affirmations are you using for Void Meditation? Also, I have a couple I rotate when I do the Grounding meditation at the end of every session but I’d love to hear some suggestions as well. My current is “ this energy is safely grounding my physical body anchoring in all chakras to help me prosper in all ways positive spiritually and physically” but I’d love help refining it if necessary.

Regarding the Awareness Meditations the restrictions I face are very much time based even though they don’t take that long I seem to only find time on my days off work as most days with my routine and a very busy schedule I’m rushing to get to bed to get atleast 6 hours of sleep.

As far as returning curses 1&2 goes…. I’ve been doing this for probably close to 2 years straight now. What’s a good cycle to either repeat and/or close and restart? When you mentioned swapping it what are you doing instead?

Thanks you and may the Gods bless you♥️

I hadn't done the returning curses for so long. 🫣🫣

Maybe I need to redo them. 😅

In the past, my affirmation after yoga (which I now use with the Raum meditation) was: I am constantly attracting people and situations in my life that fill me up with satisfaction, happiness, joy, and wealth, now and forever, in a positive way for me. "

Kind of self-indulgent hehe, but I really liked the energies of that statement. :)

Now, I'm using a different affirmation that I'll keep personal for now.

However, in the past I've also used one that was suggested by Lady Pythia. She had said, after yoga, you imagine your aura in a brilliant white-gold light and affirm: "I am always exceptionally strong and healthy in every way. My immune system is always exceptionally strong and healthy in every way. I am always protected from any all disease, sickness and virus in every way. " Repeat this 10-20 times.

I had translated the words in my native language, but I think this is how it was in English. It is a lovely affirmation.

At some point, I had even used the AoP's affirmation after my yoga session (the one written by NG VoE, given to him by Lady Astarte).

There are many ways you could go about it.

As for replacing the Returning Curses with something else, you can try Vissudhi for cleansing (you can find appropriate dates in the calendar in HoO), or better yet, do the Liturgical prayers to remove Izfet from your life and the world, and to empower yourself and the world at the same time.

This is the targeted reply.

For Visshudi, are you referring to the Purifying method we did the 40 day cycle of where you vibrate it x7 into all chakras and use a ball of light to pull all the dross out?

I was thinking of the x7 one.

I actually thought the purification method we did in the 40 days cycle was that one? (I was actually doing the purification mantras from the HoO at the time)

But either way, another kind of purification.

You could also do High Priestess Lydia's self-love meditation or healing the emotional body.

You should reduce the stillness to 5 minutes and add 5 minutes of kirtan kriya or simply chanting aum at the end of your session. The grounding exercises can explode your spiritual progress.

Even in the face of great adversity, DEFY ALL ODDS

Is there a link to the Kirtan Kriya? Can it be found on PinkLotus?
