I understand how to make a Rosary.  I understand the importance of the 108.  In fact, I can tell you how to make a high quality one and exactly where to get your materials.
I don’t like using a Rosary.  I find the finger pad method to be practical and interesting and will certainly use it in the future for other things but I don’t like it for meditating either.  Using a calculator doesn’t work very well, because it’s distracting and too easy to screw up.  Using sticks or cards and folding paper are worse.
Is there a reason that counting is important when doing meditation?  Does it help with your meditation experience somehow?  Does it help you to focus on your meditation better somehow?  That is the question I would like an answer to.
Without that knowledge, I assume that counting, if it could be done away with, it would be.  I find counting to be distracting, and down right annoying while I meditate.  I don’t want to be dealing with mechanical physical world bullshit when I’m not in the physical world.
The solution is to use a mechanical hand counter.  There are $2 hand counters made of plastic that work just fine or there are metal hand counters that have better quality, feel, durability and appearance for $10.  The advantage to using a plastic counter is that for $10 you can purchase a set of 4 of them each with a unique color.  Many are sold in quantities of more than 1 and usually less than 5.
So, the solution I would propose to people that want to do away with counting is to spend the $10 and get 4 plastic counters.  Next, label each counter with a piece of masking tape or something, so that it shows the name of the meditation it is used for and keep them with you in a purse, bag or neck strap (neck chain) and make it so they can easily be detached from whatever their connected to and so you can place them in your hand by themselves.
As an Electronics Technician, in my opinion, I want a high quality, great feeling, easy to operate metal counter that is digital and has a button battery life of at least a year.  And it should have a sound it makes before automatically shutting itself off to alert you that you have achieved the required number and/or met your daily goal without screwing up the count or causing you to have to reset the count.  As a digital device you could have as many counters as are required for however many things you work on during the course of the day.
But, these simple manual counters would work just fine in the absence of what I described.

Attached are some pictures of what I propose using.

Counting is necessary, not for the mere act of counting, but because of the numerology required for certain meditations. Some meditations HAVE to have a certain number of repetitions, hence why counting is necessary.

Makes perfect sense to me.  All magickal workings are based on timing and that timing is based on numerology to some degree.

But what about the Aura of Protection Meditation, the Satanic Void Meditation and Chakra Cleaning?  Would that also have a numerological aspect to it or could you eliminate thoughts of counting with that?

That is what I would use the counter for.  I could do 4 different meditations a day and keep track of where I left off on each one, so that I could spread it out over the coarse of a day and more or less focus on the meditation rather than how many times I did it or needed to do it.  And have the flexibility to switch it up and work on whichever one I feel I need the most work on for that given day.  Not to mention that fact that it would make it easy to follow your own production statistic.

What are your thoughts on that second aspect?

For the most part with those, the counting won't matter AS much. Of course, numerology has power, so you should at least try to keep it a consistent number, and a number of power (3, 4, 7, 9, 13, etc.), but it would still be effective if you didn't do so. Again, numerology has power so doing numbers of power and consistent numbers would be PREFERABLE. Make sense?

I still don't think I understand it. As you, I think it may seem trivial to those who have not carefully examined it and easily dismissible as a matter of opinion as a result (as I wholeheartedly would like to believe).
We believe that there are certain facts regarding it that should be known with regard for numerology.
I guess if I had to make a hypothetical conclusion regarding this I would say that I need to do my counting manually when the ritual calls for a certain number of times, not just to get a benefit from using the numerological aspect but to get any kind of benefit at all with regards to the numerology and associated magikal process means rituals have to be done over and over again in order to build the effect.
Trouble is I really don't understand the effect when its directly tied to rituals with regard to the reinforcement of the magick even though I can clearly see its effects when I look at numerology alone and its effects on the subconscious mind and so forth. The bottom line being, I haven't seen enough magick in action to really understand it so it's hard to make the distinction between a repetitive process such as a meditation and rituals if they're even is a significant difference between them in terms of numerology.
So I would say that if you're doing a large number of repetitions in a ritual it might help too have a counter just in case you fly off to another universe or dimension or something and then come back and can't figure out where the fuck you are and what you're doing and have to take a moment to reorient yourself. I think this can also apply to new people that have difficulty with concentration and have not done enough satanic void meditation.
Fuck it, I'm just going to use a counter to remind me in case I forget. And to keep track so that I can continue where I left off at different times of the day and so on.
Thank you for all your help. I really appreciate it.

This problem was resolved by simply downloading a free Google app that had exactly what I wanted on it and allows you to label everything that you do and keep track of the count for each item as you do it. You can set up multiple counters and so forth. You can go backwards and forwards in numbering and there's multiple other counting functions that it can do. So I'm fucking happy! My search was for multiple click counters on Google Play.
