Manifesting the effects of the runes in yourself

Just a small question...

When we vibrate the runes, do we slowly obtain their positive characteristics and abilities? OR...Do we absorb both their positive and negative aspects? OR...Do we get no effects unless we use specific affirmations to what we want?

I believe we get both the positve and negative aspects even with the affirmations, unless we combine it white white/gold light.

E.g.- the Fehu rune.
You may affirm to get money. You may find urself getting the cash BUT at the same time, become aware that ur thinking is getting slow.

That's why i believe, it is crucial to absorb white/gold light to avoid this.

Its ok because i always use whitegold light when invoking energy from the runes anyway
