Manifestation During Astral Projection?

I've read sources that suggest that physically manifesting during astral projection is possible, as well I experienced situations where entities have materialized during attacks. Apparently this is possible for a human to accomplish, where one can even manifest weapons that cause physical injuries at a distance. I can't imagine how one would learn to do this, but I'm aware this isn't just the ramblings of a schizophrenic crack addict.
