Male and Female Energies

When i read the magnum opus and learned that you have to mix the two energies to complete the practice. I started to look for meditations to do that but not with the male and female elixirs just regular male and female energies. I found one that is an old eastern meditation called merging heaven and earth or mixing or balancing yin and yang. I don't follow the meditation to the letter I mix in that male is red and female is a blue color. Which I wasn't sure i should do but a few days later i had a dream that I should do it that way. I want to hear others opinion about this. Here is the link to that meditation i found.

You just need to read the second to last paragraph that talks about mixing haven qi and earth qi. And instead of using black and white use red and blue.

And if anyone knows any meditations to mix male and female energies please share.
