Making Advancement, Reaching Goals, Attaining Success

AvatarAFODO5 min to read

Greetings, I have brought to you a very important topic about reaching your goals, advancing, and ultimately being successful. This is the core principle behind all of this.

Behind any successful person, behind any goal reached, and behind any advancement made there is a lot of consistent good work.

Good work brings results. And only good work does. Because if you are not working on the correct things, correctly, then it will not bring you any results or not what you expected.

The formula of good work is as follows:
Good work = work on the correct thing x micro focus

Micro focus means focusing on the work, on the task / problem at hand and this is extremely important. The more laser focused are you, the sooner you'll get it done and not just sooner but more than likely better. The more focused you are on the correct things, the better work you'll do faster.

This means not working for 20 minutes, then scrolling on tiktok for 10, and repeat. Micro focus is completely immersing yourself and putting your whole attention on one thing for a reasonable amount of time.

So this is the formula of good work, first of all working on the correct things that brings result, and working properly on them.

But what the "correct things" are is not self-evident at all. You'll need to get a hang of this but I'll give you some examples.

For example if you want to loose weight, you should not research how to loose weight on and on, but start working out and have a healthy diet.

If you have a business and you don't have enough costumers, the problem is likely not your service / product or whatever, but your marketing and the process that takes someone from a stranger to a costumer.

If you want to get better at something, you should practice it properly, not just learn theory about it on and on.

If you want to have spiritual abilities, learning about spiritual abilities will not make you have spiritual abilities, but practicing them will.

It all comes down to this question: What needs to be done for x to happen?

If you are poor, watching netflix and youtube will not help you. Looking for a job and actually applying for them will do but if you want to get rich, that's another topic because you'll never become rich as an employee, so working on the correct things come in play again here.

This differs a bit from things to things but being good at something or having had achieved something is usually 10% knowledge and 90% actually doing it. You'll learn as you go, not before you have even started.

Okay so maybe we understand what good work is now.

Success is basically this, with time, and macro focus.

Success = work on the correct things x micro focus x time x macro focus.

Time is how much time you can do good work for. If you can work for 2 hours a day on something you will of course get it done later then if you work 12 hours on it - assuming both is actually good work, because you'll be more successful if you do good work for 2 hours then if you do bad work for 12 hours a day.

Because Elon Musk and a Chinese factory worker may work the same amount of time but one of them is extremely successful and the other is not.

And the last factor is macro focus, being focused on one thing / goal for a long time. This is especially important as well (just as the other factors) because if you start a project or you start working on something properly, a lot, you'll still never going to succeed in it if you leave it after a week or month. If you want to get rich do not start a different business every week, stick with one you can stick with and others have already succeeded with, otherwise you'll never reach your goal of being rich.

Another example: If you want to become an advanced mage, you must meditate properly a lot and practice spiritual abilities. But if you are only doing half assed (no micro focus) aura cleaning (working on the wrong thing) for 10 minutes a day (not enough time) and nothing else, maybe you are even inconsistent in this (no macro focus) then you'll never be an advanced mage. But if you practice both awareness and power meditations, and meditations regarding spiritual abilities (working on the correct things), and do them properly, laser focus, relaxed, with a still mind (micro focus) for more than a hour a day (enough time put into it) for 10 years (macro focus), you'll definitely be an advanced mage by the end of the 10th year.

Recap:
To be successful you need to work on the correct things consistently and correctly, with focus and dedication. The more you work properly, the more results you'll have.

Greetings AFODO,

You laid out a clean formula and the Temple of Zeus Clergy has been teaching something like it for years through different doors. Let me anchor each pillar to how it is actually practiced in Zevism, because the formula works, but the spiritual side of it runs deeper than the secular framing can show.

Micro focus: the Temple of Zeus frames this as Concentration, the trained ability to hold total focus through any distraction, and High Priestess Lydia Coventina makes the same point on Focusing Your Mind on Your Goals; Avoiding Brain Pollution, where she calls out social media scrolling as engineered to break attention span. The remedy she and the Clergy keep returning to is Void Meditation, the stillness a person needs before any deeper practice is even possible. The "20 minutes work, 10 minutes scroll" pattern you named is textbook brain pollution.

Time and pacing: this is where the Clergy is blunt. In On About the Ritual's High Priest Zevios Metathronos uses the gym analogy, noting consistency of fifteen minutes a day pays more than an hour of sporadic meditation three times a week, because what one is doing is conditioning the mind, not shocking it. He adds the related warning in Burning Out that surpassing limits means the 90-110% range, not the 200-300% range of "frying" oneself. So the macro focus piece of your formula holds, but only with proper pacing: small daily sets for years, not heroic bursts.

Correct work: this is where your "advanced mage" example really lands, because the Temple teaching is sharper than "practice spiritual abilities." Meditation Information distinguishes Power Meditation from Awareness Meditation explicitly, and the Teaching makes the structural point that awareness is the spine upon which power rests. The "aura cleaning and nothing else" hypothetical is a near-perfect illustration of doing wrong work, or at least half work. Aura cleaning is hygiene, not training. Awareness and Power Meditation, the spiritual foundation of what the Temple calls the Magnum Opus, are the actual correct work. Your 10/90 split echoes High Priest Zevios's The Emptiness of Knowledge, which argues practitioners must engage in sustained practice to understand spiritual reality rather than endlessly accumulating information.

Macro focus: HP Zevios teaches this directly in The Journey In Zevism: 0.25% Growth Per Day, which formalizes Rome being built brick by brick, day by day. The same Clergy message shows up in the pithier Small Acts? I don't think so., where those who wait for the right time wait forever while those who do their daily tasks diligently become giants.

A real-life parallel that helps frame all four pillars: your Elon Musk versus factory worker example scales the same way spiritually. Two people can sit for the same number of hours, and the one whose practice is built on a stable foundation of awareness, power meditation, daily sitting, and progression through the proper sequence outpaces the one grinding aura cleaning for ten hours a day. Quality of attention and correctness of practice compound, and they compound for years.

One concrete next step worth sitting with: pick the pillar that feels weakest and audit it for a week. If macro focus is shaky, your own suggestion of a fixed meditation commitment is sound, something like a six-month commitment to a single daily routine you stick to even on the days you do not feel like it. Do the work in the 90-110% range HP Zevios named, and let time do the rest. The advanced mage you described is, in the Temple's framing, simply someone who did the correct work, with focus, for enough time, without quitting.

Great post, thank you for sharing.

In the end, acting is the pillar to become a successful person. In life, you won't know every single time whether you are working on the right thing or not, but by acting, you will make mistakes, and from those mistakes you will learn, and adapt.

Thank you Brother AFODO!

It's true many people have goals or dreams that are accompanied by a priority mismatch. You can't choose what your priorities are, you can only perform what your priorities are.

Mastering the mind and then using its powers are an immense help with bringing our goals into reality, but the development of this must be prioritised.

Some people may not feel inwardly ready for a change towards the life they truly want. It can help to reflect on why that is. I recommend the use of Hypnosis and affirmations to feel more deserving of taking these actions which will benefit you in the long term.
