Vegetables are important especially if one is eating meat. People who have had terminal heart disease have been healed by just eating vegetables and nothing but. Vegetable foods clean your body out and keep your arties clean. They also provide fiber which is crucial to avoiding many illnesses.
When people sit down and eat most of what is on their plate is a lot of meat and almost no vegetables. And people eat this and along with a lot of processed junk. My grand parents generation the plate was a lot of vegetables and some meat on the side.
Too much meat and not enough vegetables makes people sick and all vegetables and no animal products and people have to take vitamins to avoid getting sick and they still have health problems. The problem has become people are being too propagandized to promote veganism to the point it becomes ones sole identity in life. And then you have others who go to the other extreme which just promoting an all meat diet and all kinds of nonsense.
