1) Sure, just make sure that you affirm that this person loves you and no longer loves this other person (to avoid confusion and increase the chances of your success with the desired person). I'm not going to preach, but this is a dick move though so think twice before doing it. For eg. ruining a happy marriage is unethical.
2) You should make a connection with the energy, but using it on yourself in pointless. After all you are allready in love with that desired person right? So instead of using this energy to incite love for that person in you, focus that energy to incite love of that person for you instead.
3) Actually, if you continue visualizing having sex, being in love etc. with that other person will only further increase the chances of succes. Visualization and thinking that the desired result is allready achieved is a major factor that increases the chances of spell being effective. Just make sure you do not worry or doubt yourself.
4) Nothing is impossible. Comparing the charts is a good idea in seeing how compatibile the two of you are and where there will be problems (for example your mars square his mars will probably cause many fights between the two of you), but remember that nothing is impossible. Knowing where there are problems will give you extra momentum in preventing these from happening. Forewarmed is forearmed.
5) Look on the Rune page of the JOS. Also you can look on google for Sanskrit mantras for attracting love. Sanskrit mantras definitely work, but be careful with outside sources. Also, you can learn Sanskrit and make your own mantras once you learn the language but this is advanced.
There is an Enochian dictionary on the JOS. This is also very effective and you can make your mantras if you want.
6) No, i doubt that. This would only add further power to the working. The chances of clashing would occur if you would use to opposite elements (fire with water, or air with earth) but with experience you will also learn to bypass even that. Also a tip- fire element would proably be better for that. Fire incites passion and most of the time the heart (symbol of love) is painted/ascociated with fire. Love magick is also best done during summer (summer is fire element, winter is water element) during Summer Solstice. Water is still good though, as it rules emotions.
7&8)Why specificly at night? This can be done at day too, which would be even better as at day the sun is in the sky and sun is of the fire element (sex & passion). As for the amount, this depends on how strong you are and how fast you want the results. Averagely i can't tell, but going by feeling i would say that for the spell to truly work, if one is a beginner, then a 40 day working would be a must as this will add permanence.
9) With time, it can wear off. This can also be caused by planet transits etc. Of course this can be prevented by doing another love spell. Also the first love spell will gain more permanence if one does it for 40 days ("engrave" it on the soul), especially at a specific time. For eg. waiting for Venus and/or Moon to be in Taurus (Taurus brings permanence for working in astrology) will also fortify the working's lasting value.
10) That depends on you. For eg. if you do a working to make someone love you, and you will be an asshole for that person, then this will probably render the working useless. Remember that the spell will help you bring about something, but unless you are powerfull enough to control someone's mind i doubt anyone of sane nature would like to be with an abusive person, so make sure that you are good for that someone you did the working on. Compatibilty is another issue- people of opposing interests, sexual tastes etc. are much more prone to breaking up. You have to take this into account when doing a love spell. Make sure you choose that person well.
